Guest leromarinvit Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 Hello, After trying CM7 again for a few days, and finding that it's still too buggy for regular use, I was looking around for a way to enable national roaming without enabling international roaming on non-CM ROMs, since that's about the only CM feature I really use. So I stumbled upon this XDA thread, where I learned about /system/etc/spn-conf.xml. Apparently, one should be able to map pairs of virtual/physical MCCs+MNCs, so the phone doesn't think it's roaming. Great! The only trouble is, it doesn't work, at least on SS5 and CM7 (with national roaming disabled, obviously). On CM7, the file even exists by default, but it still seems to be ignored. Most references to this file are in a Samsung context, but I don't think it's vendor specific, since you can find versions of it containing HTC references, and it exists somewhere in CodeAurora's git tree. Any ideas? Am I missing something?
