Guest jiggy-j Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 (edited) Hi everyone. Since a couple of Week my Liquid don't have camera and proximity sensor. I tried to flash it with the latest Acer bin (4.008.08) but nothing. When I run the camera app the screen stay black. When I flash my phone with a Custom Rom it say that it can't connect to the camera. What's the problem? :) Edited June 20, 2011 by jiggy-j

Guest jiggy-j Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 I tried to open the liquid to found any connector but I don't found anything. It seems to be all the hardware in the up of the phone because the headphones are not detected by the phone too. If you can explain me what to do exactly on the main board. PS : My phone doesn't fall recently
Guest AndreaIT Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 (edited) anything .. so you found the empty space in the phone? :) my phone two times after a fall have got camera problems and i resolved reattaching this loose connector situated under the "main board". If you have problems on the up part of the phone is probably a connection problem to the bottom part (main board). There is a flat cable that connect the up to the bottom part, so there is a flat cable connector on the main board and there is an other on the up part. In my case the main board flat connector has slightly detached. Some days ago my phone fallen another time, this times no camera problems but the display cracked, i will disassemble my liquid as soon the new display that i ordered arrive, so i will take some photos of the internal and connectors.. or if you found some pics of a dissasemble liquid i can encircle the connector area .. EDIT: i found the liquid service manual .. here's the link http://www.box.net/shared/rylqej72jp here some photo of liquid internal with comments .. Edited June 20, 2011 by AndreaIT
Guest jiggy-j Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Yeah Thanks. I will try this afternoon.
Guest jiggy-j Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 I've finally resolve my problem. Thanks a lot to AndreaIT. After some fear. I disconnected the connector behind the board of the camera and reconnect it. I touch some other thing to see if there isn't diconnection. And when I boot my phone and run the camera app "TADAAAM" it's working, the prox sensor too. Thanks again dude. I'm really happy. I hope it will work everytime.
