Hi,

of course i used the search before i wrote my post.

I bought ZTE Blade (Orange San Francisco from polish Orange Seller).

My rom is swedish spring RLS5 (Android 2.2)

Everything works fine except one thing.

I don't get all sms messages :-(

2 days ago i wanted to buy something paying with paypal.

I should get TAN (Transaction Number) from paypal via sms.

I did it 3 times (send sms and 2x resend).

No any message arrived my blade.

Yesterday i bought 2 other things on ebay and paypal TAN via sms worked fine.

2 hours later with friends we decide to use kakao as chatting system.

All 5 people were in my flat we used WiFi.

To make a registration in kakao you have to type your mobile phone number and wait for verification sms.

I did it of course

All friends get the message from kakao except me :-(

We are in Germany so the phone configuration + provider was:

1. me - ZTE Blade + Eplus

2. Firend 1 - Xperia X8 + Eplus

3. Friend 2 - Samsung Galaxy S + T-Mobile

4. Friend 3 - Samsung Galaxy S + T-Mobile

5. Friend 4 - iPhone 4 + o2 Germany

I resend the verification code for at least 6 times, so Kakao blocked me for 24 hours.

Other sms arrived without any problems (ok, im not sure if i should get more messages) :)

==========

Other sms problem.

Yesterday evening i get the message from android:

"your textmessage memory is full"

I thought: wtf?

I got this phone since few days, received max 10 sms messages and memory is full? Like nokia 3210 after 20 messages B) But it was 10 years ago...

I moved then all applications to the SD Card (with "app2sd") and message "your textmessage memory is full" disappeared.

you must have downloaded apps like crazy to fill your whole phone memory.

SMS take hardly any space at all so you must have been really low on memory. I have thousands of messages on my blade and I don't notice any less MB on the /data partition.

I store most of my apps on my sdcard partition. and use link2sd. using this I can make sure I always have loads of /data free even though I have 250ish apps.

make sure you always have 25ish MB free on internal memory (/data) so you don't come across issues like this.
