Guest CeeJay-88 Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 (edited) I have a green line going down the screen, which i am pressuming is a dead pixel line, i have not dropped my phone (as far as i can remember) I am still in contract by 3 network but they said that they do not cover screen faults or damage, what is the policy with SE as i do not want to have to pay £100+ to have a screen replaced i think i have had the device for about 1 year so far, does this mean that the warranty has ran out with SE ? is there anyway to repair dead pixels ? Any quick responses would be greatly appreciated. P.S. i can confirm this is hardware related as i have tried to flash different ROMS and the line even appears during boot up when the SE logo is on screen!! i can try to attach pictures if needed ? Guest CeeJay-88 Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 (edited) I have spoken to SE who told me the phone is under warranty... but it is highly unlikely that it will be covered as screen damage is usually not a fault, it is due to being dropped... so i guess im back to square 1 lol anyone else got any ideas ? I maybe wrong but dead pixels are usually black (as in dead, no light) seems something else might be the problem (digitizer?), BTW did u try flashing a stock ROM?
