Guest BSAB Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 (edited) Hi all Been using VegaComb for a while and I was thinking of going back to Corvus5 for now. Unfortunately I wasn't really thinking and flashed the Corvus5 WITHOUT wiping the previous ROM. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop where the Corvus5 bootscreen comes up a couple of times and then just goes back. Trying to go into recovery (press BACK/POWER+BACK/BACK) doesn't work, it's like it doesn't register (tried it plugged in and not plugged in to the charger and to the computer with a usb cable, no difference) Any ideas on how to get out of this jam? Guest dwok Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 (edited) Just had this myself. Luckily it is actually booted so you can do "adb shell" and then "wipe data". Then "exit" and reboot. Edit: After this I installed cwm recovery from link below, used the app to boot into cwm, then from cwm menu wiped data again, then installed VegaComb Beta 1.6 from sd card, reboot... result = one more happy happy user :-) Clockwork recovery 3.0.2.8 [easy install] v3 Edited June 21, 2011 by dwok

It's posted about a million times on here. You can always get to recovery. Just keep trying, vary the timing etc.
Guest Rob Watson Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 What works for me is: a) Power off device (hold power for six seconds) whilst it is charging :) Once off take out power supply for a few seconds c) Plug in power supply d) Plug in USB to pc e) Try power back button combo Last three times i tried the above it worked first time. Might be a coincidence but give it a go Whatever happens just keep trying as it will go into recovery

Tried multiple times to get into recovery - all failed, seen your post and worked first time.
