Can't download images from multimedia messages

I was sent two small images and neither will download.

I tried going in with MyPhoneExplorer but it only shows up text messages. How do I get these images off my phone?

Tried sending myself one - it's ALL multimedia messages.

God this phone has been a complete bag of dicks for me.

Look, this is badword ridiculous. A basic badword feature is missing from my phone and nobody's being any help at all. I don't know how I'm supposed to be happy about this. On my old phone I had useful features like being able to text people contacts and actually being able to receive multimedia messages from people.

What's weirder is that I can receive videos, but not images. What the badword?
