Guest Özgürce Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Wifi will drop unless you set the wifi to never disconnect in settings. Not related to my problem i guess, because wifi dropped when i use the wifi. I mean for example when i surfing on internet, wifi dropped randomly. And yes i alredy try this vay plus static ip. This is exactly like my problem. I will wait for the CM7 now. Maybe android 2.3 solve this problem.

You might have better luck changing some of your router settings, channel number, encryption to WPA2 etc. Failing that try installing Blade Wifi Fix from the Android Market.

Guest Palmierini Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 (edited) @flibblesan or anyone that can answer me hi i bought a x5 in Portugal and had the bad luck of getting one of those that can't flash custom roms because CWM4 don't work do you have a chance of looking in to that problem ? why CWM3 works, and CWM4 doesn't ? or maybe making a rom that is supported by CWM 3, maybe without ext4 support ? i don't know, just wild guesses :P ty \o Edited July 14, 2011 by Palmierini
Guest ondrej99 Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Great job with the ROM! But is there a way to lower the media volume? Because on the lowest setting its too loud for me.
Guest data5 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Hi. Do I need to wipe after that i have installed this rom and can I listen to music through headphones?
Guest Jaime Fonseca Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Flibblesan Good morning! First of all thank you and congratulations for the excellent work! Already used your ROM for the ZTE Blade and now that I switched to the Huawei U8800 kept true to your ROMs. I live in Portugal and the only thing I can not do with your ROM is to send multimedia messages, however, the ROM can VOID. It is possible doings something to be able to send MMS with your ROM? Thanks

Guest Jaime Fonseca Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Hi, Where is the link for the r4 download? Thanks
Guest Simon O Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Hi, Where is the link for the r4 download? Thanks First page.
Guest NeostarNeko Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 What about the headphone problem, has this been fixed yet?
Guest Simon O Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 What about the headphone problem, has this been fixed yet? Not fixed at the moment.
Guest Jaime Fonseca Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Thank flibblesan When I asked r3 still said on the first page. :) You should be updating when I asked ... :) I will install now. Thank you master:)
Guest That-Guy Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Thanks for the update to r4, updating now :)
Guest Jaime Fonseca Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 flibblesan after I install the r4 still appears in the "About phone" the following: "FLB Custom ROM for the U8800 r3" Is this normal?? Thanks
Guest Simon O Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 flibblesan after I install the r4 still appears in the "About phone" the following: "FLB Custom ROM for the U8800 r3" Is this normal?? Thanks Yeh, forgot to update that! Kitchen updated with the correct build number in the build.prop. It's purely cosmetic so I won't update the prebake.
Guest tomo88 Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 thanks for the update mate, appreciate the hard work. I'm new to android and only just getting into the custom ROM scene. If I want to update from r3 -> r4, I do the usual CWM recovery and all that, but does that mean everytime I 'update' I'm basically reformatting the phone? Is there anyway to keep all my apps and settings in tact?
Guest darkado Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 don't hold me on it but you should be able just to install r4 without losing anything if you're just updating from r3
Guest Simon O Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Yep you can update to r4 from any earlier version and your apps and settings will be saved. Everyone: I made a small mistake with the kitchen... the boot.img was in the wrong place. Kitchen has now been updated with this fixed and I'll upload a new prebake too.
Guest Simon O Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 (edited) If you downloaded r4 then you probably don't have the newer kernel since I put it in the wrong location. Please download r5 to fix this or download the following r4 to r5 patch: FLB r4 to r5 patch DOWNLOAD (Multiupload) Also the r4 to r5 patch should also let r3 users update to the latest version without having to download the entire r4/r5 rom. Hopefully! Sorry for the error everyone. (what did I do wrong? the boot.img was in /cust instead of /cust/image!) Edited July 21, 2011 by flibblesan patch actually works now!
Guest ianmack Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Upgraded to r5 now, no dramas. In the changelog you say changes for overclocking, how do I change the speed?
