I want to get the ITV player working on my ZTE Blade but it requires Adobe AIR 2.2 to be installed (I assume it runs on flash)

Does anyone know of any workaround or way to run ITV player without AIR?

also when I try to download the app from the market place it shows my device as an HTC Blade???

When I try to manually edit it the whole form goes mental..

It's a workaround to get apps that are marked incompatible with ZTE Blade but actually can work on Blade.

I read somewhere that itv player requires flash which isn't supported by the blade. The online site may work with skyfire like bbc iplayer.

The HTC might be because of a line in the build.prop file which says htc rather than zte.

This is correct. The ITV Player needs Adobe AIR which is ARM v7 only. Skyfire is worth a go but don't be surprised if it doesn't work.

The HTC line is because it's the workaround for Gameloft games.

Dont think the 'workaround' works any more.. now that flash works for the ZTE blade is there anyway to get ITV Player work on the blade?

Infact I don't think it ever worked.. you can't edit your devices in the google app/play store.
