Well i have a question, i install this ROM "TripNMiUI "Iris" 1.7 Froyo!" in my Xperia X10 and works really FINE, its awesome. But in Storage Config say "A2SD {Your device don't support} my question is: these is a problem of the ROM? or i have a Problem? again sorry for my english. THE ROM IS THE BESTTTT Thanks. Plus8

Plus8 Hey Plus8 (sorry about the previous reply) to answer your question, A2SD does work so don't worry just give it a try, just tested and I am on 1.7 with BB67.

Plus8 It's not the rom that can't support A2SD,It's just because there isn't EXT partition in your SD card,If you want to know more,you can search these words---EXT partition. Hey Guys, i've made the a2sd partitions (Fat32/ext3), but there is now an failure after boot, "SD-Card is Empty", and my phone would like to format the SD Card????? CAn someone please help me?

Guest javydawg Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 Im also on Trip's miui 1.7 and still haven't found a way to get a2sd+ working :/ every time i format it, like they say the phone then says the memory card needs to be formated! I read somewhere that we have to format the card first then flash the rom? Since apperantly once u've set your phone up and tried to do it the phone just wont recognize it? but im not sure still havent tried it. It took me too long to set up my miui 1.7 :) haha I been flashing my phone constantly! bb's, new kenels, blah blah, So in short what is the true way to get it working with trips rom? =]

But in phone information i have info, that a2sd dont exis Ho,it is too strange. perhaps the custom kernel let the A2SD don't work but the latest zKernel(6.26.2011),claiming to support A2SD+(2.2froyo),perhaps we could try! Guest Av_Av_Av Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 itz the ext2 partition thats causing the issue.! i'm facing it too even on wolfbreak's rom. ! i don't think there's anyway to fix this. unless v try all the partitions. i.e ext2,ext3,ext4, fat,fat32

Custom kernels arn't supported in trips roms. just go through your apps and move them to the sd card from the manage apps section of the settings page. only certain apps allow this
Guest FunnyBot Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Your having the problem because when you make a new partition the phone/pc will boot on that partition rather then the 1 with all your files. What program did you guys use to make your second partition? Or did you jsut do it from windows.

Honestly it is VERY annoying, And when i recieve a text message and i drag the message icon from the lockscreen it most of the time doesn't show the NEW message until i click back and then click on the name of the person again. PLEASE come out with a fix or a new version soon, i am desperately waiting since I am a dedicated TRIPNMIUI fan and refuse to use anything else
