Hi all,

I have been using youtube to teach my 21 mth old to learn letters & numbers but have come up with a small problem, she keeps touching the screen and stopping the video. Is it possible to lock the screen out when the video's are playing.

Thanks all

Cheers Greame

Edit: Just noticed this may not be the best place for this post, could someone move it please?

One possible way would be to download the videos in full beforehand, using something like jetvd, then playing the downloaded videos on a video player that features a screen lock function, moboplayer supports this (you press the menu button, which disallows any screen touches to stop the video, unlock with menu button again).

I cant think of any way to stop youtube from doing this, and moboplayer doesnt play youtube directly afaik.

Thanks for giving it some thought mate but I do not have the time at the moment, thats why I like Youtube because I can just search for the educational content and push play. Looks like she will have to learn not to touch (wish me luck) :).

Thanks again
