tried pixel fiver 2.0.0 to attempt to unstick a dead pixel but after hours of it running it had no affect, anyone got a solution? I love my Blade and dont wanna have to send it off to be fixed.

I know it may sound like silly question but y'know, someone might have had a similar problem and found a solution.

How many pixels are dead? It has to have a certain amount of dead pixels until you can send it back

There might be an app on the Market that can help, I remember seeing it a long time ago but I have no idea what it's called.

there are around 5 of varying notice-ability, they only show up on black though. its a minor annoyance.

i also have about 10 hot pixels(not death - death pixel is black). From what i know those programs are not working in most cases. you could try send it for warranty repair.

Waste of time if you ask me, not a big issue, at least for me

Yeah its not a huge deal, just use a lighter wallpaper. I never understood how those apps were supposed to work anyway.

Being me as soon as I got about 3 dead pixels I'd get it returned under warranty - it would bug the hell out of me!

Am I right in thinking dead/stuck pixels only happen on TFT screens? or am I barmy :)

i dont know what is on mine, on the right top corner i have kind of light leak. it s hidden by the white bar, so it doesnt really matter except when i have a black screen.

I think i could change it, but considering i can push the blade near its 800mgz instead of the initial 600, I will take the risk to get a slower ZTE in return.

and it s a 100 euro phone, don't want the hassle to bring it back, reinstall original stock, etc.to find myself with no phone for 2-3 weeks maybe

AM-OLED also sometimes has this issue. On blade you need to watching really carefull to see your hot pixels and only on black background. Check it out. Discover how much hot pixles you have B)

It happens on LCD, OLED/AMOLED and Plasma screens (not that those are used in phones but still).

Its funny that you should say that because i have the exact same thing, right top corner of screen there is a patch that is lighter, only visible on a black screen though so i can live with it.Waiting for new blade to be sent by orange dont think I could do that.I would get serious B.W.S(blade withdrawal symptoms)
