Message Sync problem with google voice

Hi

I have recently upgraded to the Cyanogenmod Green V5 (android 2.3.4) (GEN2) ROM

but have noticed a problem when using Google Talk, the messages do not sync correctly in chronological order

Every Message I type goes correctly to the bottom of the thread

But every Message my friend sends appears intermently within the thread (I have to scroll up to check & workout what has been said in reply to my messages)

I suspect what is happening googletalk is using two different timestamps. One from my phone for my messages & one from my friends phone for his messages.

I get the time for my phone from my network.. which appears to be a few minutes quick. so my friends message will always appear before mine in the thread.

Anyone else noticed this problem with Green V5?

can't believe im the only person to have found this..

It must be both ROM specific and maybe because my networks time is also incorrectly showing.

Why create a whole new thread for this when you clearly know that it is a ROM specific issue you want to resolve. You could have asked in the ROM thread itself!!

Wasn't sure it was ROM specific, but lack of others been effected does suggest this.

Although V4 Green is such a popular rom it suggests its a conflict with my particular setup / network
