the vega battery tweak and corvus5

reinstalled corvus5 again over the weekend and did the battery tweak (this http://www.adfrad.com/2011/01/tweak-for-mo...-on-advent.html )

didnt get the extra icon on my status bar

cant remember if you just dont get this on the corvus5 rom after doing the tweak or if i just didnt do the tweak correctly

could someone confirm either way? thanks

You shouldnt need to do the battery tweak on Corvus, only the stock rom

but i still had the useless standby taking up my battery

in fact thinking about it checking the battery status to see if the standby was still running should have been the first place i checked to see if it had worked

I dont have standby on mine, just display and wifi at the moment, mine could be an anomaly but I'm fairly certain the phone stuff was switched off/moved in Corvus

in that case it sounds like something funny might have happened when i flashed it

will try reflashing tonight

I think it'll only be present if 3gfiles.zip was flashed, which is needed if using a dongle for mobile broadband.

well i definately didnt flash the 3gfiles.zip and its definately present

i remembered it wasnt present last time i had the corvus rom on their which is why i presumed i must have used the battery tweak to remove it

it does all sound like i need to wipe and reflash
