I decided to try making some changes to different roms, and they seemed to go ok, so I'm uploading it here in case anyone else wants to try it.

What's changed:

*Based on CM7.1.0 RC1

*Added gapps, market, maps, gmail, talk, etc.

*Titanium Backup

*S2E for more space for apps

*AutomateIt, can set rules such are turning data off while screen is off, etc. can improve battery life

*LauncherPro instead of ADW Launcher

*Old CM wifi driver, I get better reconnecting with that one

*Removed theme chooser apk and associated things

*Removed some wallpapers

*Removed some ringtones

*Changed bootanimation to CyanComb from here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&amp...t&p=1671419

Should fit in a 138MB or bigger system.

Download from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?qebzry785vh6v33

md5sum: db62826809148cc03f4421c41bde7fb6

Second version with libaudio.so from N104. No FM radio, but battery life may be better.

Download from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?xyuawyedaw8b0wf

md5sum: 6b13a7059f36b2433144887bd2fe52ce

New CM wifi driver for people who prefer that one: http://www.mediafire.com/?71zi4dz7s3qy22w taken from wbaw's thread, thanks to him for making it into a flashable form.

Circle Battery Mod: http://www.mediafire.com/?s63syuy9pwzdvtc made using the UTO Kitchen, thanks to Redflake for telling me about it.

It may be possible to come from nightlies or other roms based on CM just wiping cache and dalvik cache, but its recommended to do a full wipe (data, cache, dalvik cache, format system). If you find something not working, please wipe first and see if that fixes it.

No theme chooser :)

Yeah took it out as I don't use it. If you want, I can make another version with them added back in?

Amphoras,

I tried just to install Circle Battery Mod from your link on my cm_blade_full-106 and my OSF didn't want to boot no more ;)

Thus I didn't make backup for a long time  I decided to flash your rom without any wipe, & it seems to me that it was successfull :)

I flashed CyanoComb-v1.zip then Circle Battery Mod.zip & all this stuff successfully installed. I have all my all soft installed, only some widgets gone (I think because I used GO_Launcher_EX and LauncherPro erased incompatible things).

So unexpectedly I'm tasting your ROM now

i installed this on top of nightly 104 last night and it worked perfectly, I then installed the circle battery mod and again perfect, at last I have a decent battery icon on the blade again

Then I installed the wifi driver update and I have to say - I've never been so impressed.

For the 1st time since I got the blade I can leave the wifi on, it goes to sleep and reconnects immediately once it's woken, I went for a drive this morning and the data connection worked perfectly even though the wifi was still on, it used the 3G connection when I was out of range of my router and immediately switched back once I got home again.

Very impressive and well worth installing.

Yeah the battery mod is based on a later CM build, so it may not work with earlier ones. Glad you got it working in the end, and hope you enjoy the rom.

Thanks, glad you're enjoying it ;).

Which driver is this exactly? There are so many floating around..

Its the China Unicom one from http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...i-driver-fight/ Should be the same one that comes in CM now.
