Shall I buy a motorola Triumph while on vacation in the Usa?

Hello all,

this morning I got up and checked engadget. To my delight, I saw the motorola triumpph for 300 dollars on virgin mobile (Us) prepaid. Since Im leaving to the US soon and Ill be staying for the triumhs release, Im wondering if I should pick one up because 300 dollars are about 211 euros and thats a good price for the specs. But before I buy it, I have a few questions:

1. Is the bootloader unlocked?

2. will the phone work in germany (Wil Ibe able to make phone cals, use mobile web)?

3. Will there be a free or cheap unlock so I can use my German Sim card?

1.) Quite sure all Moto's until Q3 will have locked bootloaders (unless they issue an OTA to remove it eventually).

2.) I think Virgin Mobile USA is CDMA so I don't think you'd be able to use it in Germany.

3.) CDMA handsets don't have a SIM Card, I'm pretty sure they're locked to each respective carrier.

its CDMA dude coz it is a subsidiary o Sprint, which means it is uselesss over here, go for AT&T ot T-mobile USA like MyTouch 4G
