Upside down screen rendering.

Has anyone found a solution or workaround for the ZTE Blade rendering its screen as upside down to screencapture applications?

I am namely talking about androidscreencast (code.google.com/p/androidscreencast/), but I have noted that other screen cap apps have the same issue - everything is shown upside down - the screencapture live or the PNG image from a screencapture.

I am running 2.2 / cyanogenmod 7.0, but I also noticed the same with the factory ROM.

I usually take a screenshot, open the image I just made, and then take a screenshot of that. There you go; image right way around! :)

I believe it's cause that's how the screen is actually rendered. The physical screen is simply orientated such that it appears the right way up to us.

It's not hard to just click rotate twice in windows picture viewer :)

Thanks for the replies.

Don't get me wrong, for the images that's what I have been doing - rotate 180 degrees and save.

Its more the live screen streaming that I need a solution for and currently all I have is to get everyone to stand on their heads or turn the projector upside down.

The screen is upside down which is why screenshot apps have upside down pictures - try photoshop or picsay from the Android market

I just turn on Autorotate and turn the phone upside down :)
