Restoring ROM to "virgin" state (without all my data /apps)

Hi, Forgive me - I'm sure that the answer to my question is already on the forum but I dont know enough about working with ROMs etc to know where to look.

Basically, I am now passing my Blade on to someone else and want to give them the phone with Froyo but without all of my downloaded apps and other info that is lurking in the phone memory or on the SD card.

I just done the factory wipe/reset in Clockwork and the phone is back to its original 2.2 install. I note however that the SD card still has loads of my info. What I want to know is - can I just wipe/format the SD card and pass the phone on with just the software that's in the phone memory, or would formatting the SD card at this point screw up use of the phone somehow? If I do format it should I reinstall anything?

Thanks for your patience!

I think formatting the SD Card should be okay. It might kill the EXT partition on it though (if you created one).

Otherwise, when the next user boots it up the necessary folders will be recreated.

Just format the SD card (you can do this from within android, somewhere at storage settings) then do a full wipe with clockwork. The new owner will have a completely blank phone then, and will also be greeted with the welcome screen when turning it on for the first time.
