Problems getting my r12 Froyo rom to work

Hi followed the very useful guide,

trying to just install Froyo r12 onto my San Fran. Having problems, I have the file on my PC as a zip. When I send it to my SD card it is r12-update-mocadocustomrom-blade-kitchen-unsigned, still compressed I believe, however when i hold the file using astro their is no check sum value at all. the file is 93.33mb. the file contains boot, meta inf, system. I have also tried using winrar to extract to my sd card (g:\)from the download location on my pc, however this does not work properly either and the check sum is wrong, it creates 3 files on my sd card boot, metainf, system

I have extracted the file from its zipped location on the sd card also into a new directory , but the check sum value is again incorrect. The rest was easy, can anyone give some advice, thankyou
