Guest NZtechfreak Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 MHL demo video is up, working just like it does in the SGSII (with some pros and cons of course). http://blog.clove.co.uk/2011/06/29/htc-sen...-demonstration/
Guest Rob Watson Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 This looks great however, i cannot get any TV to recognise my Sensation. I purchased an MHL Mirco USB to HDMI apater, connected it to my phone and TV, but nothing happens. The TV just says that there is no signal As i have said i have tested it on numerorus HD TV's but no joy. Is there a setting that you need to switch too on the phone that allows it to be displayed. I cannot find one and so am assuming that when all is connected it should just work. Does anyone have any ideas? Note that the MHL adapter claims to support Sensation, GS11 etc
Guest NZtechfreak Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Is the power connected to the adapter? All the adapters out at the moment require a charging input in order for them to work.
Guest Rob Watson Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) really? Ok thanks i will try that Yes that works. Are they all going to be made that way (eg require charging) Edited June 29, 2011 by Rob Watson

Presently they are all that way, I presume it will stay that way until MHL capable televisions arrive - those sets won't need it since they will charge the phone over the cable (obviously older non-MHL capable televisions will always need the charging input).
