Android Driver

Hi

Having owned my Vega for just under a month and managing to live with App centre, Appslive and apk source downloads to provide me with some of the necessary apps such as google earth, Maps, games, etc I feel that now is the time to get that MoDaCo custom rom.

The first real problem I am having is installing the advent vega driver to my windows 7 netbook. Currently my PC recognises my Advent as an Nvidia Tega 2 memory device. But to install the custom rom I need my PC to recognise my vega as an android device.

Having installed the advent vega zip driver on the advent download page, my PC will only recognise those zip files as useless DLL files. I've installed a zip reader and yet nothing happens when I click on them.

For some reason my Netbook refuses to recognise that zip folder and I am unable to download a new driver.

So, what can I do to get my PC to recognise or install the android driver onto my latest windows 7 netbook? And is there an alternative download link?

It is annoying the hell out of me.

Thanks, if you have not yet seen my second post, the mod has been installed and I have full android market. Next step is to install my 3G dongle and get my bluetooth GPS to work.

The android is looking much better, sounding much better and running much more smoothly.
