Guest SeanJacko Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Hi all Wawa72 wanted to know whether ZTE was building devices featuring Snapdragon chipsets. This isn't technically one for the Blade forum, but we can't really have forums for unexistant future devices :) ZTE had this to say about their chipset roadmaps: "We can confirm that ZTE is looking at faster Snapdragon (including dual-core) and Tegra3 (quad-core) chipsets. All of the chipsets are performing well in tests, we’ll be releasing smartphones with the fastest chipsets very soon."
Guest q123456 Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Great news. That could be great step ahead from blade.
Guest Roph Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 I think they really missed the ball with the Skate. If the skate had a 1Ghz snapdragon (keep in mind a 1Ghz ARMv7 will do you MUCH better than a 1Ghz ARMv6) it would be fantastic, and wouldn't cost much more to manufacture.
