Guest NorDsoN Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Sorry for my bad English, My zte libra - fully analog zte blade. In CM7 roms maximum acceleration 806mhz. At this frequency my phone working fine. How to overclock my phone more than 806 megahertz? Do not ask me why I do, I do not know :)
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 It would not be possible to do this without constant reboots or damaging your hardware, overclock this far. I would advise you do not attempt to do so!
Guest NorDsoN Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 At a frequency of 806 megahertz my phone working fine, I know perfectly well what risk, but do not know much English :)

I can't say I know of any. But there might me some, I'm not sure.
Guest NorDsoN Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Mushroom_Lord, I also think like you, but hope that there is an easier way than digging in the kernel/
Guest hugobosslives Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 does your phone actually allow 800+ and not reboot? i.e have you set it to go to 800 and then properly used your phone? (played a intensive game or something) I could get it to last on 800 by making it sleep whilst having a theoretical max cpu of 800. only ever heard of one guy who sed he could do this (and i think he was mega bullshit-ing) one of the reasons why our custom kernels don't allow 800+ is at these speeds it will literally screw up your phone in minutes. even if it appears to be working. just leave it at high 700 hundreds (mines at 768) and make your phone faster by other means (i.e. faster rom such a cm7).
Guest NorDsoN Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 hugobosslives, My zte libra working fine on frequency 806 last week. It is a pity that it does not work Thank you for your answers.
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 I wont lie, once I though I had successfully OC'd in Set Cpu. I set "Custom values" defined in a txt file because I wanted to "slider the slider beyond 600mhz" (I was on Mcr12 which doesn't have over clock, you see). Anyway the highest of these values was 900. And I slid the slider up all the way, and when my phone didn't reboot, i had assumed it was working at 900mhz. I was SO wrong :)

Guest NorDsoN Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 On 806mhz quadrant shows 1200-1250 points.
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 you need a modified kernel to go higher
