Guest zarras Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Noticon v1.0 (FR19 rdy) This is my first noobish try to build something useful for the community of o2x. Most of the work is placed in icons along the notification bar, pull down menu and some screens such as usb alert screen. There are 5 different versions of Noticon with different notification bars and toggle buttons (see below for pics). This theme also includes the BPM of Malicious Ken. Credits: Malicous Ken (XDA) & Agekalp(MyPhone) Istallation guide: BACKUP first... (seriously...do it :) ) Download .zip and place it in your external card Start phone (Vol. down+Power button) and enter CWM Find your way to the zip you placed in external card Install zip from CWM's options ps: im not responsible for any damage you may cause to your hard/software Pics: Notification icons (standar in all versions). Icons like GPS,WIFI,2G/3G are transparent and shinny gloss when their bar(s) is/are empty) Versions Below you can see the differences of the 5 versions (Notification bar & toggle buttons. 1. Koubi 2. Metbor 3. Metorth 4. Paga 5. Stroggy I hope u like it DOWNLOAD 1. Koubi 2. Metbor 3. Metorth 4. Paga 5. Stroggy PS: This will work on stock or modaco's roms (Froyo 2.2). (Tested on FR12 and up to FR19 and ofc stock) This will NOT work on CM's roms(Ginger) (thanx 75Markus)

Guest Trym Hansen Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) Would it be possible to remove/decrease the transparency for the notification bar? Right now with apps using a light backgroud it looks like the enclosed screenshot, the clock becomes almost invisible. (Even harder to read on the actual screen than in the screenshot.) I'd also prefer less transparency in the pulldown-notification area, as it is now the items are a bit hard to read due to the background shining through. I think an opacity between 85%-95% would do nicely. Still amazing work though. ::Trym Edited July 1, 2011 by Trym Hansen

Guest Trym Hansen Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 (edited) why is it sooo white (not. bar?) are you using a live wallpaper or a static ? Static wallpaper, actually the default O2X green wallpaper. The notification bar turns white when you're using an app with a white background, like "Market" because the notification bar is nearly transparent (in your theme.). ::Trym Edited July 2, 2011 by Trym Hansen

Guest pitywoman Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 just reflash fr19 or whichever you're using (without wiping) yea i know about that method wich i trying to avoid it. but anyway. haha. really cool art by ts
Guest jambezuk Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I'm currently using Koubi which is nice btw, thanks! Just noticed though... you're missing the notification bar button for silent mode and the icon (that is silent but NOT vibrate) The vibrate icon and button work as expected. The icon is less of a problem but the button definitely stands out against the flashy artwork of the others. @pitywoman why avoid it... it takes two minutes and it's not like you have to set anything up afterwards!
Guest AbuPetrov Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) Thank you for the beautiful artwork! I've noticed some glitches of on FR19 final (using Stroggy variation and default LG theme). 1. Auto-rotate button in notification area acts strange - I hear the click and the image color changes, but autorotation status sometimes remain the same. it happens quite often - one of three times. 2. Default ugly buttons show up in landscape mode Edited July 3, 2011 by AbuPetrov
