Well, as title says "dzo" @xda have been porting the AOSP rom named - Oxygen(not to be confused with HTC's things).

It follows a minimalistic formula and always to be minimal and snappier than most ROM's. This is for those who can't wait for CM7. The oxygen rom is based on 2.3.4.(Gingerbread).

All credit goes to dzo for porting and distributing it to the U8800.
