Guest aaww Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Have you already had a look here or here? Nope. Thank you I will be reading that now. by the way do you have any idea if it can be done by using the LGMobile update ? It has a Recovery phone option.

Haven't used the LG Mobile Updater yet. I have always used the SmartFlashTool for Stock and CWM for Custom ROMs until now.

EDIT: the UI looks very serious, it does an analyses then downloads firmware and flashes it. Wonder if it works, too scared to try :) Edited July 1, 2011 by aaww

I've done this a few times already ( a lot of times actually.) What I do is simply smartflash an *old* version of the rom, 10a. Then I run the LG-update tool to get the latest. (As I suspect LG are doing incremental changes to the firmware's without changing their version numbers.) BTW: I had a phone with lots of reboots and problems, just like everybody else. Until I did this for the first time. My phone has been rock-solid since. Over 6 weeks now without a single reboot. ::Trym
Guest aaww Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Good news, Just did a full wipe and all is good now. There seems to be a problem with the Angrybirds unlock app. it simply crashes. Other than that all is good, very smooth and i also noticed a huge change with RAM usage. the system is more efficient in releasing ram and also i have around 190-200 mb free as of the initial boot :) I am using allot of apps that boot with the device such as the adfree and LBE guard. I also using the Launcher Pro Plus with 6 homescreens ad 3 docks, as well as 5 widgets (weather,calendar,facebook,flashlight,CPU/battery). I am very happy. I will finally relax when I will have an os that can take advantage of the 2 cores  but for now I am happy Paul you are the Man !
