2 problems: GPS Fix and volume max on headphones

Hi,

i'm pretty happy with my ZTE Blade. But i have actually 2 problems:

1. Gps Fix (position estimation)

I searched on this forum and found info about changing the gps.conf file in system/etc

I did it (european server) but i have still problem with gps fix.

I get the fix everything works fine, but if i don't use the Blade for e.g. 1 hour it takes again 2-5 minutes to get the fix.

Of course AGPS data have been downloaded

It looks like ZTE doesn't remeber the agps data after it's switched of (standby of course)

On my old windows mobile device: HTC touch hd i downloaded the agps data and they worked fine for one week.

GPS fix was within max 5 seconds. In every app.

Here, everytime, when i use navigation or endomondo it's frustrating :-(

It doesn't matter if HSDDPA/GPRS or WiFi ist enabled or not.

2. Volume max while using headphones.

The zte blade its simply to quiet for me.

@ home it's ok, but if i'm on the street / in the bus the max volume is not sufficient.

Any possibility to increase it?

It finds 5-6 satelittes within 5-10 seconds, but the signal quality is yellow (average) and 5 minutes wait for position fix.

I'm on the balcony and have free view of 75% of the sky.

My ROM is swedish spring RLS5.

"Fix audio for SIP"

What does it mean? that calling voip via sip doesn't work?

Other question.

Is there any manual (step by step) what should i do to install your rom (i have currently Swedish spring RLS5)

I didn't flash my device. I bought it with this rom. So i don't have experience with that

exactly, SIP calling outputs to the phone speaker instead of the earpiece

hey man i am also on swedish spring 5 and my gps is showing wrong like 50-100m how to fix it?

i download gps test and clear a-gps and download new but always in google maps its stuck on "exactly 30 meters when"...and it show like 100m wrong

when i only use a-gps it shows 1600 m wrong :S:S

im not so far and my problem is different :)

I have problems with gps fix time and not with the accuracy.

I am pretty sure that it is fixed in the Ginger Stir Fry ROM, which are based on official android 2.3.4 (Swedish spring is 2.2).

Stable Imo, I've been using it a while with no problems. Good battery life if not better than 2.2 roms and fast gaming :)
