Guest shameful Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) Afternoon all. Long time listener, First time caller. Had some very strange behaviour with my Vega the last couple of days. Every now and again anything black on the screen starts turning green. At first I thought it was overheating or a software glitch. So rebooted it. However as the Vega booted and you get the normal black screen before the boot logo. It was appearing green there as well. So my thoughts changed to it being hardware. I found that if press ever so slight on the back of the case the colours go back to normal. I was thinking of attempting to return it under warranty as it seems to be an internal electrical dry joint of some sort. Id normally take it apart myself to fix but thought Id try the warranty route as I've only had the device since January. Id like to stress that it hasn't been dropped or sat on to the best of my knowledge. Do you think Id be able to make a claim under warranty? I've attached a before photo showing the green screen and an after photo. just after pressing the back of the case near the middle. Thanks K Edited July 1, 2011 by shameful

Although I quite like the green :) I would return it for repair as it is obviously faulty and might lead to something more serious
