Guest mertzi Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 there's been different word about whether it has gorilla glass or not. on cornings own site it is listed on the full product list (http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/products-with-gorilla/full-products-list) but not on the specific LG list (http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/products-with-gorilla/lg) which makes it confusing and people in various forums have reported different answers from support. the other day i emailed corning and the response was that they weren't allowed to tell because of agreement yada yada but in another forum someone got response from them that it has gorilla glass. and today i spoke with the LG uk support via chat and i told about the corning listing and this is the response i got: "Mobile Phone Support: Ok, this handset definitely has a Gorilla Glass display, it may be a typo on their web page." so it feels at least 99% certain that it has gorilla glass. i haven't bothered to look in the manual but as it's not listed on many specification lists on various sites i guess the manual doesn't tell.
Guest pihx Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Well if it didn't have gorilla glass, then it sure as hell has some good scratch prrofing, because no matter how i keep my phone around stuff or in my pocket, it doesn't scratch at all, no even a tiny scratch. Good to know.
Guest mertzi Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 they've changed the LG list now too http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/products-with-gorilla/lg so it feels 100% now
