Another fine release by TripNRaVeR! The road to TripNMiUI "Iris" 2.0.

This will be the continuation of the last topic. It was kinda impossible to discuss this rom therefore a brand new topic.

ROM: TripNMiUI "Iris" Froyo

- Latest release 06-07-2011

- Rom version 1.7.*

- Froyo 2.2.1

- 8.1MP HD-Ready Camera

- Photo's can be made @ 8mp, HD1080, VGA

- Videorecorder can be 1280x720@30fps and AAC audio (highest possible)

- MIUI Themes

- Wifi

- GPS

- Prepared for TripNFeatures

- Needs baseband * for best results

- Any baseband supported

- New TripNMiUI theme

- Radio hack ported from TripNMiUI Gingerbread

- Improved screen quality! Just check the colours and you know what I mean.

- Boot time 32seconds!

Changelog 1.7.3:

- Restyled

- Updated framework to make things possible in future releases ( ... ;-) )

- Themes updated

- Recompiled some apps

- This is base for 1.8 that will be available in the weekend

Changelog 1.8 - 1.8.3:

- Radio system improved

- TripNEngine extended to 75%

- Version 1.8.3 contains a complete rebuilded framework to match TripNEngine better

- Version 1.8.3 contains various apps rebuilded/edit (needed for next version)

- Themes should apply better

- Improved game experience

- Reduced battery drain by "Froyo" system (TripNEngine related)

- Improved rom feeling

- GUI elements improved (overal looks and some apps changed)

- MIUI Music app now matches the look of the rom

- New wallpapers and lockscreens included (ver. 1.8.3)

- Fixed some FC (live wallpapers for example)

fc in edit contact picture is still there, need to look further to find the cause

- Rebuilded VPN system

- Bluetooth updated to make use of some TripNEngine parts

- TripNEngine is expected to be complete in 1.9

- Probably more!

hey Trip, did you rebuild complete rom, or you just work on visual improvments, i think that rom is already fast and stable so I wondering :) what suprise we get with this version. :rolleyes:

Chris is going to test another restyled version now, if i find it good enough then it will be released. After that i'm going to work on the bugs but its kinda hard without phone :)

It is very happy to hear you are fixing bugs(although there are almost no bugs :)

Will you include a custom kernel for us in the final version(2ghz, 16m, 4 points mt etc ;)

it's hard to live without flashing .... life seems boring..... coz u made me flashaddict trip...

minor bug on 1.7

when u type new number on dialer , it will show u 3 option

Create new contact , edit contact , send message.

If u click any of them it will call on that number , but dont do the respective things it is meant for.

yesterday i wanted to save my new cook's number , and i found this bug.

i cudnt save the no , got frustrated wtf , then clicked on that + icon on right and saved it... :)

anyway check for it
