Guest BuglyAstard Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 see attachment B) Froyo-CamLagfix.zip update: 42 downloads and only 2 "+1" ? you guys are too shy :D Tried it, makes video smoother for sure but the audio lag is still just as bad. might be a great patch for other froyo roms that have good sync but are a little slow, Im trying a few more tonight. Thanks for sharing the file.

Thanks for sharing the file. It gives me a FC when I try to switch to video recording, both in stock and MiUI Camera. :( Thanks though, I am glad someone is working on it! :)
Guest bazji Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Definitely see an improvement in video using the patch, but as already stated audio lag is still there. I read on xda a while back about changing the read write speed of the SD card with SD speedboost app to a lower setting like 2040 helped. Instead of the 4096 setting on the rom.
Guest Huzaifa Vawda Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 I was tired of it not working so fixed the build.prop so Vignette would recognize the device properly and giving flash/auto flash options again. Download and install from Recovery http://dl.dropbox.co...te_tripnmui.zip THANK YOU LIKE A BILLION TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest festa20 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Awesome Trip!!!!! Good to see your ignoring all the jealous haters out there :D:D Count me in for bug reports if you like buddy Regards

Guest TripNRaVeR Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 By Today, it means you're releasing it today? OMG I'm so excited, haven't flashed anything for a while. Maybe a summary on changes? I can say that thas release will be called "Feel the power of Froyo" Pretty sure this about the max that Froyo can get on stock kernel. - Complete rebuild - Runs party on TripNEngine 70/30 (Not a fully Froyo rom anymore!!) - Anoying UI parts fixed - Audio improved for a better multimedia experience - 69mb (wallpapers, apps included) - And alot more If tests are oke then Final will be released shortly after this.

May I ask what TripNEngine is? :)
Guest doomed151 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 If tests are oke then Final will be released shortly after this. That's sweet, it'll be great if you are able to release it before my sleep time (GMT +8 here).
Guest Evynnstarr Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Is TripNEngine another one of those LOL things or is it for real ?
Guest TripNRaVeR Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 May I ask what TripNEngine is? :) Core parts of the rom, like the engine of a car.
Guest Comm.STIG Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 ya i face the wifi problem too, i use the TripNfix for 1.6.9 for wifi and it works! here ---> http://www.mediafire...2r64w5jln0os2vx Yea but I tried that already. Did you put 1.7 on first, applied the TripNFix 1.6.9 then put 1.7.3 on or strieght from 1.7.3 applied the TripNFix 1.6.9? My wi-fi even has problems with the stock 2.1 on and works when it wants to :( might be my phone

If it's yours: Turn off WiFiRestart router/modemWait for it to settleTurn on WiFiConnect immediately Should be able to connect then. The chip on the X10 is a bit problematic, the Acer Liquid mt suffers the same issue. My old Wildfire never had any problems connecting, solid connections all the time; 100% of the time. The above solution did help in the past but for some reason after this weekend it never connected again :( I have a friend with a moto Defy and he has no problems connecting to my wifi. Yet with Barnacle wifi tether app on the stock 2.1 and with TripNMiUi 1.7.3, I can share my phone's internet with ease  I have bad luck with phones :P

Guest mdintx Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Is there any way to get this connected on a 802.1x EAP wifi? This seems to be a problem with all custom ROMs.
