Alternative keyboards display issues

I have tried both Hackers keyboard and thumb keyboard but using honeycomb on the vega the keys letters on the keys are always wrongly formatted.

On Hackers keyboard the letters are to big and overlap the keys.

In thumb keyboard the shift key option symbols which should be in the top right of the keys are overlapping the border (e.g 1 , 2 & etc).

Hopefully the above makes sense. Is anyone else having the same problems with alternative keyboards.
