Search before posting or read the manual the only way to lock keys is to hold down the hangup key for 2 secs you cannot set a timed delay for the keys to lock.

Hope this helps.

nope- there is another way: in the security settings you can choose after which time the phone will be locked. if you take a password like "9" its just one clike more than the keylock to unlock again but it goes in to keylock after one minute (or more if you like) by itself. i use this since the dk update and the sms-bug and i'll not return to the standard keylock since i really like this self locking feature!

You can set the phone itself to lock after a specified time. In Settings -> Security there is an option for phone lock. With that turned on the keypad is locked but you do have to enter a password to enable the phone again. Can be a hassle but it makes the phone more secure if someone tries to play gnuboy while you're away from your desk.

Also the menu you get by tapping your power key gives you a key and phone lock option. Don't hold it down or you turn your phone off. This option is useful as the hang up key kills you GPRS connection and you may wish to leave it on if you are running messenger or streaming data.

Eran this really is a beginners question. If you're not prepared or don't know how to search please post in Beginners, but you've been here for a while so you should know better! I'm also pretty sure it's in the manual.
