Transparent Notification Bar?

Hi All,

I was wondering hwo can I make my notification bar transparent? Not the bar background when it is pulled down, but the bar that goes along the top, with the signal, battery, time etc. Right now mine is black, and I'dlike to change it to a transparent but slightly grey.

Which post should I be looking at? I wasnted it like Migun's screenshot (Post #146 I think it is)

Turns out it was a lot more complicated than I had thought (just swapping images)

Looks like you need to change a bit of code too, for Cm7 at least.

Services.jar is the target here, I think.... (but uotk wants frameworks-res and services so looks like I'm wrong!

Anyhow I'll try using it on outk and see how that works out, I never noticed that there before!

I tried a transparent one with Cm7...

Everything works..except....TRANSPARENCY!

Its just black..

Maybe I need to try something other than ADW or something...Ill look into it :)

Just fill out the mods you want? Like status bar...

The only issue is I couldn't get a transparent status bar working with it (Cm7 n119 - tried adw, launcherpro and go launcher all with lwp but none of them worked) - it just shows a black bar. All the other mods I made worked fine (except window animation, but I only uploaded androidian.apk which I dont think is enough for the whole thing)
