Guest Jekle Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) Hi, I'm going to Alton Towers on Tuesday and I thought can you use Google Maps or a another navigation app to tell you where you are in the Park and say where each rides are? Because I get lost quite easily! And I know they have Park Maps there but can Google Maps tell me where I am in the park? Edited July 3, 2011 by Jekle

Guest k0zmic Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I don't think so. An Alton Towers app would be better, but I suppose you could use Maps to look for landmarks and compare them to where you are if you get lost.
Guest Jekle Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Thanks, I've been there twice before but it's easier to use my Blade to tell me where I am and how to get there, like Navigation sort of thing. I know they did a Street View in Alton Towers in 2009 but cant seem to get it to work on street view.
Guest DWaldie Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 This sounds like the begining of a comedy sketch.
Guest Redflake Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 You might be better trying OS Atlas Lite as it as more detailed maps when zoomed close in. There is also a paid version. Android market link to free version
Guest Jekle Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Just get a map when you get there? I did say the Map doesn't tell my exact location or rides near where I am
