Guest theShire Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Hi all, just noticed an error with my No-Frills CPU lately. When trying to set the governor I get an error message about being able to execute the '/system/bin/su' command. But my superuser seems to work fine for other applications: Titanium, Droidwall, ROM manager etc Anyone have any ideas about fixing this? I've updated to the latest version of No-Frills and also tried an older version 1.5 but both give the same error message.
Guest Atomix86 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Go into your Superuser app and make sure No-Frills isn't on the deny list.

Sorry, should have mentioned I already checked that and also wiped the Superuser data hoping that No-Frills would request su privileges again but nothing has worked so far

Try fixing permissions with ROM Manager, see if that helps. I hope you like the new icon, and marketplace graphics, I did those, if you continue to have issues I can email the dev for you. Anil. PS. Sorry I couldn't resist showing off.
Guest k0zmic Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Alternatively, you can use SetCPU. There's a donate version from the Market, you can also get it free if you have an XDA account.

I ended up restoring an older nandroid backup and now it works fine. I honestly have no idea when/why No-Frills stopped working. Thanks for the help anyway guys
