Guest iNoobz2Droid Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 I use K9 as mail client (like many of you probably) and my mail accounts don't use imap or whatever but pop3 and smtp so currently K9 is set to check for mails every 2hours but is it possible somehow to deactivate 2g usually (to save batterie life) and to make the blade automatically establish the 2g connection for 1 min for checking mails?

K9 detects the connection and checks for new mail each time you are connected (well, it does for wifi so I presume it does the same for mobile data) Batteryfu tells your device to sync each time it turns data on too, it may be an option.
