Guest galorin Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Was getting my phone ready to go to the repair guys linked elsewhere on the forum, wanted to wipe it, so thought I may as well go from Cyanogenmod Green V5 to my stock ROM. I forgot to do the gen2->gen1 before flashing OUK_P729BV1.0.0B08-update_signed.zip and now I can't get my phone to go in to any mode for recovery. I have tried the ADB driver, but XP said the driver didn't contain info about my hardware. Are there alternate drivers I can try?
Guest KonstaT Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) Just use sdcard reader to move gen2->gen1 TPT "image" folder to your sdcard. Do the TPT and flash your stock ROM after that. Edited July 4, 2011 by KonstaT

Edit: You will see some green text come up as you boot - this is normal. Edited July 4, 2011 by kd80

This is odd, and unfortunate. All my SD card reading kit is dead. Are there any other options out there for me to make this guy work?
Guest hedgepigdaniel Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 If you can use fastboot, then sue that to flash clockworkmod back Just find a way to put something on your SD card, its not worth the risk of DFU mode.

Will wait. DFU, is that short for Damn, F***ed Up? Need to buy something anyways, camera uses SD as well, and speed's never been important to me.
