Orange is weird but not bad - it's writing stuff right? Wait for it to finish and then green man should be there

Ok I think I know this.. did you press 'menu' key? it's 'menu' + 'vol up' + 'power' what you did was 'vol down' + 'power' = you entered recovery. Pull out battery and try 3 button combo - menu, vol+ and power :)

Guest rockstarszzzz
Blue screen... :) Sorry to ask this again, but where is the 'image' folder that you extracted? Right in the root of SD card? Not within any folder in SD card right? There is a folder named image on your SD card and this 'image' folder is what you copied from unzipped 'TPT' folder? Guest sm4tik
Can you give us a status update on this :) I think might have done everything right afterall. I read earlier someone else had that blue screen too with menu + vol(+) + power on. Make sure you have that "image" folder with it's content on the root of your sdcard and then try different key combinations like: vol(+) & back vol(+) only back only vol(+) & menu & back etc.. If your phone is gen1, as you confirmed earlier with mr.pigfish, there should be a key combination getting that TPT started. It might also be a good idea asking for help in the other thread as someone there might have had the same problem. Anyways, if nothing works for you, you're not stuck. There are other ways to do this also

Only I plan on doing this too and also coming from Gen1 phone. Thanks

Thanks On stock gen1 to do a TPT you use ``menu and vol +'' and then power on (works better if you take the battery out first) Once you are on TPT upgraded gen2 then you only need to use ``vol +'' and then power on (Which incidently is the same combination as to get into fastboot mode so delete the sdcard/image directory if you ever expect to want to go into fastboot)
