cm7 and usb gamepad

Hey, so I have had my Vega for a fewmonths and tried several Rome and ended up with cm7 nightly build from xda revs, mostly for flàsh support over vegacomb and stability. I was wondering what I need to do to get USB gamepad working on the ron, mainly for sneeze emulators /games.

Also, I haven't managed to quite work out the android music app, I have my nasty mounted with mount manager at the following;

Sdcard/nas

The mp3s are all kept in an mp3 folder on the nas:

Sdcard/nas /mp3s

The android music app doesn't show any musiç, I can't find a scan option or even a way to tell it where to look for the music. I tried mounting /nas/mp3s to sdcard/music but for some reason mount manager doesn't want to mount beyond the top level of folders, even though I can happily browse through astro to the mp3 folder from my exisiting mount.

Also, I don't suppose anyone has worked out how to hide the default keyboard on cm roms? Very frustrating trying to hide it by clicking away on websites!

Thanks for any help you can offer

Andy

Does the hard or soft back key not hide the keyboard?

Also, are do you know how to get into USB host mode? This is the only way that your gamepad will work. Turn the tablet off, then press the power button until the display's backlight is on (screen still blank though). As soon as you see the backlight, hold down the back button until the vega is fully booted. You should now be in usb host mode.

If you look on youtube I think there was a video recently about the advent vega and getting a controller to work.

Thanks, the soft back key sometimes hides the keyboard but I had never thought of using the button on the top,Doh works nicely!

I have tried my gamepad in host mode and it didn't work, I wondered if there was anything else I needed to do?

The rom just needs ntfs/cifs built into the kernel I think,from what I have seen all the custom roms have these built in anyway. Mount manager is free from the market, not great scores but does sort of work, I have had the problems listed above with it, but better than nothing.

Sorry for off thread but does mount manager allow you to specify a subfolder on NAS as mount point as Cifsmananager doesn't (i.e. mount at //NAS_ADDRESS/openshare/music as opposed to //NAS_ADDRESS/openshare/)

Don't think so, well I have never got this working anyway, it just fails to mount any second level folders. Sorry.
