usb host mode without restart

Hey, so I think its pretty standard across all the roms / kernels at the moment that holding the back button during boot sets USB host mode, no doubt this great, but would it be possible to set host mode without restarting? A widget would be perfect, but I'm clueless how hard this would be to get going?

Not currently possible. Might never be possible. USB mode must be set during boot.

have you tried instaling the surfer 360 mn10u rom, buy default it boots into host mode. no pushing and holding buttons. and also the 3D launcher is prety cool too.
