The Stockholm is a Ideos X1 U8180 Vodafone Smart is U8160. Just sayin'

I am tempted by the Stockholm, although the Vodafone Smart is £10 cheaper. They're the same spec as the ZTE Blade.

I wonder if they can be unlocked for free, rooted and a custom rom installed?

Nothing even near the same spec, The ZTE blade has 512MB RAM. they have 128MB.

The Blade has 150MB Storage (GEN1), The Smart has 130MB

The Blade has 7.2Mbps HSDPA, The Smart has 3.6Mbps ( The Blade also has 5.76 Mbps HSUPA)

The Blade has a 600MHZ MSM7227, The Smart has a 528MHZ MSM7225

And the blade is tons faster. Trust me i have both :)
