Guest davidevinavil Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 (edited) Loocking into Huawei U8800 X5 section I found this tread http://android.modaco.com/content/huawei-u.../q-fps-limiter/ You can remove the FPS limit by adding: debug.gr.swapinterval=0 to your build.prop. You never really notice and difference between 45 and 60fps though, and it won't boost your quadrant score but it will your neocore score I believe.[/codebox] I've tried it over Dmd_ginger_3.021.01 and seems it working :/ I mean scores into benchmark are improve a lot Fps2d reach 88 fps Neocore reach 73 fps But I don't understand if is better or not on general use like browser and scrolling menu or UI.. Ehm... I've seen that some animation are really bad like power off screen.. It's artefacted :/ Edited July 5, 2011 by davidevinavil
Guest vache Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Tried it and checked with FPS2D Before : 40FPS After : 88FPS But scrolling is really not smotth :/ (launcher, menu, power-off anim...)

Guest TechnoLover Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 this method messes up the whole animations, I tried it, but it looked horrible so I haven't published it :)
Guest Mtman1 Posted June 20, 2012 Report Posted June 20, 2012 Just a (tiny :P) bump. Does anyone know how to slow down the screen off animation? This would be so cool if we could...
