So what 2.2 ROMS actually work (bug free) on a B10 ZTE Blade?

Would like to update to 2.2 but have heard of a lot of people saying such and such ROM bricked their phone / made their screen unresponsive etc etc.

Is there a 2.2 ROM out there that is 110% tried & tested / stable for those of us with untouched B10 stock ROMs?

Thanks in advance :)

Swedish Spring. I used it for ages when I had my Blade, and it's still installed in everyday use on the phone (now in posession of a relative who likes their gadgets just as much) and it performs brilliantly, not had a report of a crash or poor battery performance yet.

Thanks for such quick replies!

Which version of SS are we talking about exactly? And these were installed on (originally) B10 phones, right?

Am sure it was SS a friend of mine was having problems with...

+1 for SS

Used SS ever since I had my Blade, Used SS RLS5 up until yesterday (moved to GingerStirFry)

If you want a nice themed version, I HIGHLY recommend RicordoPvz's Portugese Spring RLS4 (spin off of SS RLS5)

Also I've heard ALOT of great reviews of FLB R11b, which apprantly has the best battery life of any 2.2 ROM

I recently purchased my 3rd Blade, the first 2 were B08 and are running FLB, but the 3rd was a B10. I did some searching on here as I had read about the non-responsive touchscreen and decided on Swedish Spring as that had been "fixed" to prevent this issue.

New in RLS5

Fix for non-responsive touchscreen (on some Blades) by leromarinvit

I have had no problems whatsoever with this ROM and recommend it.

Exactly the kind of response I was looking for. Thanks guys; will check out SS (RLS5) ASAP!

It is version RL5. It matters not which the original firmware or model was, all Blades can use it. It is pretty much agreed to be the best 2.2 Froyo ROM, so full steam ahead I say :).

FLB R11b here. Although I seem to be one of the few who had serious battery drain with SS RL5 when I tried it so tried FLB and have been happy ever since.... can get up to 4 days out of the battery but more realistically 3. I only use the phone for internet and GPS though (no games or calls).

No such thing as a bug free Rom for the ZTE Blade currently.

True, but GSF and SS come as close as it gets to bug free atm, while CM7 is still buggy as hell.

Another vote for FLB here. Been using it for 4 months now, no reboots, no wifi or GPS problems, no unresponsive touch panel, and good battery life. I'm totally satisfied :)
