Guest Garryrobson85 Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 Hey there everyone, excuse my n00bness im pretty new to android. recently bought a HTC desire and the clock keeps losing time at the rate of about 4 minutes per hour also very occasionally the phone will reboot itself firstly i cant take back for an exchange as i had to replace the digitizer when i first got the phone voiding warrenty i have tried all the usual tricks soft reset, factory reset, unchecking the automatic settings button nothing seems to help. im assuming my next step would be to reinstall the stock firmware but would like some advice on doing this or any other solutions? phone details htc desire unlocked to all networks currently being used on 3 uk bravo pvt4 ship s-on hboot - 0.93.0001 microp-051d touch panel - synw0101 radio-5.11.05.27 aug 10 2010 17:52: 18 android version 2.2 baseband version: 32.49.00.32u_5.11.05.27 kernal version: 2.6.32.15-gf5a401c htc-kernal@and18-2 #1 build number: 2.29.405.5 cl293415 release-keys software number: 2.29.405.5 browser version: webkit 3.1 so if i do need to reinstall firmware a link to a guide or help appriciated also which ruu i need etc any other software needed to perform many thanks in advance

I find that this one here : Desire RUU works best for me when a root goes wrong. Keep me posted :blink:

Aww, sorry :blink: Well, are you rooted at all? Or do you know if you have a custom bootloader installed? I know that with ClockworkMod you can erase the battery statistics and it rebuilds them, you can't do this (to my knowledge) with stock HTC though.
