Flashing Rogers ROM

My phone is "locked to limbo" in a sense and I was wondering if Flashing a Rogers Rom would sim lock it to rogers. I read somewhere that it would possibly brick the device as it was already unlocked (factory unlocked)

if its the latest it will lock it not sure about bricking it though

I would try and sim lock it to rogers and use the ebay link in the other thread to unlock it again
