Guest ZTE_SeanJacko Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Hi all I had previously noted that the Libra was available in certain Asian markets. However, I was swiftly put right by other members. This was an oversight by me and resulted from a miscommunication on my part with ZTE. I asked ZTE to confirm, in the interests of total clarity, where the Libra is available and the OS it is shipping with - here's the confirmation note: "ZTE can confirm that the Libra is avilable in Portugal is with Éclair. But that it is also available in Belarus and Vietnam with Froyo. The choice of OS has been determined by the receiving operators that carries the device."
Guest Pelemane Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Earlier you said that Libra with Gingerbread is available in Asia and so says this article: http://news.softpedia.com/news/ZTE-Libra-G...ia-207462.shtml Hi all Many of you will have seen stories about the launch of the Libra in Asian markets. I went to ZTE for an update on the Libra. "The Libra is available from select Asian sources, but as we have not officially launched the device with any European carriers, we cannot offer any more information at this stage other than to say – it’s coming – and yes, it will be Gingerbread." I hope that helps a bit!
Guest hecatae Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) thank you for this, even ZTE' article from the 4th July 2011 http://wwwen.zte.com.cn/endata/magazine/mo...704_241742.html states 2.2 froyo. I would like that housing for my blade though, will ZTE supply replacement housings? Edited July 8, 2011 by hecatae

Guest ZTE_SeanJacko Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 any news on the replacement housing ZTE_SeanJacko? Apologies for the delay. I'm confirming today with ZTE on some forum-based queries. Though, I think it unlikely that ZTE will supply replacement parts to individuals.
