Guest Roph Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 I use FBReader, along with a black background and grey text. It looks / reads great
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 Find screen filter from the market to make the screen darker...
Guest k0zmic Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 The news app Pulse changes it's background to Black at night for less strenuous reading.
Guest joefez Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 get youself a copy of Aldiko ebook reader. you can switch from day to night mode and it has customisable backgrounds and font colours. best night reading colour is black background, red text, though go for a deeper shade. I read somewhere red light is the best for night time as you don't loose your night vision, unlike if you stare at a white light and look away, it takes a while for your eyes to adjust. try it and you'll see what I mean

Plus 1 for Aldiko, I use a black background all the time with white text for day and light grey for night with the screen dimmed.
