[EDIT] I'm offering this again tomorrow (Thursday 14th) evening between 17:00 and 22:00. PM for my mobile number if you could use some help)

Morning all.

Regular lurkers will remember I mooted the idea of running some Vega days. For personal reasons, I've had to put those on the back burner along with some other stuff. I still want to do the things I said I would but have only just got my head above water to figure out where everything else fits back together.

Anyhows, just wanted to put something back in and will be spending tomorrow on a little project which I hope will be an exciting (not on the level of VegaII/Official HC speculation) announcement and would like to offer a service to the good folks on here to give me an excuse for dragging my eyes away from source code

Vegacomb 1.7 and it's need to install a modified stock ROM seems to have unleashed a new wave of confusion and "how do I" questions.

For tomorrow only, I'm offering a remote ROM and USB install service. 10am - 12am and 3pm to 10pm.

I use a tool called Mikogo to connect to your PC (www.mikogo.com). You can see everything I do (and can search the forums for testimonials from others I've helped) and I'm not the sort of chap who would do anything nefarious.

If you want to take me up on the offer, PM me for my mobile number and we'll talk tomorrow.

Cheers

this sort of thing is why the internet is fantastic, I don't need any help myself but I'm sure there will be some takers.

kudos to you simonta for giving up your time and expertise to help others max out their Vega experience.

Thanks man. Appreciate the kind words.

Extremely good of you to do this Simonta.

I'm ok with the things you are offering, but I hope those who take you up on this realise what a "gem" we have with you on this forum.

On behalf of all Vega owners a very big THANKYOU

Big thanks for the offer Simonta.

I was able to get Vegacomb 1.7 on my Vega but it is nice to get this kind of support to the community.

If a London meet up was to happen I would be glad to add my service to help out.

Also anyone is free to message me if they want help locally in London.

(I am in a cast right now so can't travel far.)

None! A couple of folks missed it so I'll be running another session later in the week.
