ADVENT LCD screen broken due to BAD offical case design

Hi guys, my Vega slipped out of the official case (1st gen) due to its bad design, the glass is fine and I can tell digitiser works fine but the LCD inside is totally screwed.

Dose any one know if ADVENT offer any kind off replacement service as this happened due to the very poor design of the original official case where the Vega slips in from the side without any thing to hold it there.

I agree that the case design is quite poor, but I've had one since January and have never managed to let the Vega slip out!!

Can you claim from any home insurance?

Its a fairly standard sleeve design, I generally just hold the case properly and avoid it there really isn't any liability on Advents part they are pretty clear on what you get from the case.

Had exact same, had to claim accident on the house insurance, my crack started from the webcam and sprayed out all over the screen, I told Advent that there was prabably a week point there also but they wouldn't budge..

if the front glass isn't. damaged just change the lcd, it is not a difficult job, just needs a sharp craft knife and a bit of patience, 37 quid for a replacement off eBay, took about a hour to fit.
