hi all, first off vegacomb is amazing , but i have 1 query, i got hold of a WD my passport portable 500gb usb drive , ive put files onto the portable drive ie tron in mp4 and jackass 3 in all formats avi/mp4/mkv/xvid. Ive gotten my vega into usb host mode , the vega detects the drive in ntfs mode and also detects the file, but it says the file is 0.0mb and not accesible, any ideas whats going on here, does it have to be in fat 32 to work? i appreciate any input to help me out here , thansk all

Good luck with that. I had the same problem and no one here had an answer. I ended up going back to corvus5.

I use a 500gb HD. It is formatted as FAT32.

I had the same problem with NTFS. Recognises the files but won't read them.

Usually use my dock but tried Vegacomb 1.7 in host mode and it does work with FAT32.

Hope this helps.

If you haven't formatted it to FAT32 yet try disk mount and see if that works, I've tried it with a 1TB drive and it wouldn't work properly (can see files but they're all 0.00MB), it may work with a freshly formatted drive or one with less (used) memory, I have no where to move my files so can't test myself atm

When switching the Vega on, wait for the backlight to come on and then hold the back button down until VegaComb has completed booting. You will then be in USB host mode.
